This print depicting Okazaki, the station #38 of the Tokaido, is from an identified artist and was probably printed at the turn of the century. It is a mixture of the images of the same station in the Hiroshige prints published in the Kyoka Tokaido (click here to see image, from which the overall design was borrowed) and in the Upright Tokaido (click here to see image, from which the details of the damiyo procession was probably borrowed).
