There was
an artificial hill in Meguro,
Edo, that was a copy of Mount Fuji. The image shows that artificial
hill, known as Shin Fuji (the new Fuji) against the real Fuji,
snow capped, in the background. At the feet of the artificial Fuji some
cherry are blossoming. The place is also shown in the "One hundred views of famous places in Edo".
