Man-Pai / Kuniyoshi: Genji (pag.3/3)

The series Genji kumo ukiyo-e awase – Ukiyo-e comparison of the cloudy chapters of Genji, by Kuniyoshi, was published circa 1844/45, when the Tempo Reforms were still in force, and presents actor and theater prints under the disguise of illustrating the Tale of Genji (Genji Monogatari), the famous Japanese novel of the XI century.
