In
chapter 24 Genji helps Murasaki to prepare a party in the
garden, honoring Empress Akikonomu and in return of a
flower offering. In the end of the party eight of Murasaki
maids, after handing flowers to the Empress, started
dancing, which was much appreciated by the audience. |
