Observations

Although the chapter is about Utsusemi, the main character appears to be a friend of her (her Go opponent), which stays nameless but is identified as her stepdaughter and the daughter of the Governor of Iyo. The situation is about waiting,  mistaken identities (Genji ends by spending the night not with Utsusemi but with her stepdaughter) and crossed feelings.

The lady in the image most probably is not Utsusemi but her stepdaughter, and the feeling it conveys seems to be related to the aftermath of Genji visit and to the waiting for the message from Genji (which was customary after a romantic meeting), a message that never came.
